Kata & Karon Beach is one of the most peaceful coves but bustles during the high tourist season with visitors from around the globe enjoying the seafront guesthouses, resorts, seafood restaurants, bars and boutique stores.

On the Southern end of Kata nestles Mom Tri’s Boathouse with its signature oceanfront restaurant and Wine Spectator award winning wine list whilst around the corner, nestled into Kata Noi is Mom Tri’s Villa Royale. Once, this boutique resort was the highly acclaimed architect’s family beach house and today transformed into a small luxury hotel with a pool built into the large granite boulders below. Mom Tri’s Kitchen is one of the islands best restaurants. Local delicacies abound, coconut sellers ply the beach and kites fly.
